Butters' Story

Nope, you are not seeing things, Butters is our resident tripod! He was seriously injured before he came to the sanctuary.

We think he tangled with the wrong end of some farm equipment because his tail was just a stump and he had a significant wound on his right front leg. The surgeon did a materful job of making it look like he was born with only three legs and Butters has never looked back. He is one of our most energetic cats often scampering from a cat tree to zoom across the floor and scaling a ladder or a countertop to his next perch.

We never tire of his antics!
